It honestly kinda floors me when the benefits of mediation practice are relegated to the spiritual realm.
According to the Mayo Clinic, meditation can be a useful tool for:
- Chronic pain
- Heart disease
- High blood pressure
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Sleep problems
Additionally Meditation can offer benefits:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
- Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness
- Focusing on the present
- Reducing negative emotions
- Increasing imagination and creativity
- Increasing patience and tolerance
- Tension headaches
In my own life, meditation has not only offered me a transcendent spiritual experience where I have reached out and touched the divine, met my shadow, reparented myself, found the evasive bliss of sleep during times of duress, witnessed with shock and awe my own soul or higher self and even the mysteries of the universe peering back and me as I gaze at It.
I have heard mediation likened to making sure that the toaster is plugged in prior to the efforting of attempting to toast bread. As in to say, no amount of pressing the toasting lever, can produce toast, if the toaster is not aligned with its source of electricity and power, and thus produce the desired results of its design and function.
Helping you to align with your source of power is why I have created guided meditations to assist in your mediation practice. There are many live on my channel now; from healing tones and brainwaves, binaural beats; meditations for love, healing, money abundance and prosperity, health etc.
